What you will do

MIG weld mild steel assemblies to drawings, jigs, and job sequences

Meet quality standards and delivery timelines

Use and maintain measuring equipment, hand tools, and power tools

Work safely and keep a tidy bay

Contribute to continuous improvement and support your team

What you bring

Practical competency in MIG welding mild steel in a workshop setting

Ability to read fabrication drawings and follow build sequences

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

Able to work to a schedule and meet timelines

Clear communication and a collaborative approach

Current driver’s licence and reliable transport

Aluminium welding experience is an advantage

No formal trade qualification required. Skills assessed by a practical weld test

Pay and hours

Full-time, $35 to $40 per hour plus overtime and penalties

Standard hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Friday 7:00 am to 1:30 pm
