About the role

Cardinia Engineering Group is seeking a skilled Fibre Welder to join our thriving team in Pakenham, VIC. This full-time role will see you playing a crucial part in the assembly of high-quality metal products for our client. With a strong focus on attention to detail and safety, you will use your expertise to produce exceptional results.

What you'll be doing

Welding and fabricating various metal components and structures to client specifications

Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and work orders

Operating specialized fibre welding equipment with precision and care

Performing routine maintenance and inspections on tools and equipment

Collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in welding.

Proven experience as a Fibre Welder within a manufacturing or engineering environment

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical specifications

Proficient in the use of Fibre as well as MIG, TIG and other welding techniques

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

A commitment to workplace health and safety

The ability to work independently and as part of a team
