About the Role

Dakota Contracting is seeking a skilled Welder & Fabricator to join our growing team in Spring Hill, VIC. This full-time role involves producing high-quality welded and fabricated products to support a diverse range of projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate structural steel components

• Perform MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques to industry standards

• Operate power tools and equipment including grinders, saws, and hoists

• Assist with assembly and installation of fabricated components on-site

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment

• Work closely with the project team to ensure on-time delivery of quality products

Skills & Experience

• Trade qualifications in welding, boilermaking, or fabrication

• Proven experience as a welder and fabricator

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive work ethic

• Forklift and/or crane licence (highly regarded)
