Entry Solutions is a Melbourne based manufacturer and installer of high-quality garage doors and gates. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced welder to join our growing team. About the Role

As a Welder at Entry Solutions, you will be pivotal in fabricating and assembling all metal components for our garage doors and gates.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret plans, shop drawings and other types of technical drawings.

Perform welding tasks using MIG welding with steel.

Inspect and test welded components to ensure durability and compliance with specifications listed on drawings provided

Perform maintenance on welding equipment and general house keeping of workshop

Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

Transport of material to various locations that include powder-coaters and suppliers

Key Requirements

Australian resident with full working rights

Confident in operating a forklift

Ability to tow and reverse a long trailer

Must have a full Australian drivers licence – Must be able to drive manual car

Adhere to all WHS policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 2 years experience Mig welding steel as a minimum requirement - experience in a manufacturing setting will be advantageous

Skills: Proficient in welding; ability to read plans and shop drawings; strong attention to detail.

Certifications: Any welding or boiler making certification is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and work in various positions.

Attitude: Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Desire to progress: Ideally we would like to grow this role into a team leader position!
