About the role

Steady Welding is seeking an experienced Estimator / Draftsperson / Scheduler to join our team in Malaga, Western Australia. This full-time role will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, generating construction drawings(Training available), and managing project schedules to ensure the successful delivery of our construction, commercial and mining projects.

What you'll be doing

Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of construction/engineering projects

Producing detailed construction/Engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software

Developing and maintaining project schedules to track progress and identify potential issues

Collaborating with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure effective project coordination

Providing support to the broader boilermaker/installation team

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) as an Estimator, Draftsperson, or Scheduler in the construction industry

Proficient in the use of CAD software, project management tools, and cost estimating software

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or a related discipline

Current Construction Industry White Card and a valid driver's licence
