Cook / Chef

An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Cook / Chef to join the enthusiastic team at Fasta Pasta Cannon Park.

We are looking for applications from positive and driven individuals who are looking for the next challenge in their careers.

The successful applicants:

Must be able to:

Demonstrate previous pan cooking experience.

Work over a 7-day roster including nights, public holidays, and weekends.

Follow recipes with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.

Maintain efficiency and food quality under pressure.

Prepare and portion mise en place in line with Fasta Pasta policies and procedures ready for service.

Demonstrate a working knowledge of food allergens and food safety generally.

Demonstrate a strong focus on food quality and consistency.

Demonstrate previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen.

Maintain cleaning checklists and high levels of cleanliness at all times

Demonstrate previous experience working with and following written systems and procedures.

Maintain a professional and positive attitude while working under pressure.

An industry-recognized qualification in Commercial Cookery will be looked upon favourably when reviewing applications for this position.

The successful applicant must have permanent Australian residency.
