We are seeking to hire a Full-Time Medical Receptionist/EA in our cardiology practice. Medical reception experience is essential. We particularly value people who are reliable, communicates well, good problem-solving skills and who works well in a team.

The position is at our Malvern rooms (Cabrini Hospital) and you may be asked to travel to our Clyde and Pakenham rooms occasionally to cover staff leave. Our communications are centralised on one phone number so the candidate will be working for Heart Clinic Melbourne from these locations.

Our team has 7 administration staff with a (mix of full and part-time) and contributing to a positive team environment is a high priority for any applicant.

Opening and closing times are 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday, and hourly rate will depend on experience.

The successful candidate will be required to work 5 days per week.

There are 5 cardiologists at the practice and the primary parts of the job involve:

- Taking payments, making bookings and follow up appointments, actioning emails and faxes.
- Answering calls from patients and other doctors
- Sending / faxing letters and correspondence
- Fitting Holter monitors and HeartBugs, uploading results
- Ensuring results / correspondence is received
- Booking surgery for patients
- Handle billing, Medicare Claims and Private Health fund interactions.
- End of day banking and reconciling
- Maintain a tidy office space
