About the position:
Our Symes Thorpe Residential Aged Care Home is seeking a full-time, permanent Hotel Services Coordinator to join their team in Toowoomba.
The overall purpose of the Hotel Services Coordinator is to implement Anglicare's systems and process, lead, and coordinate the hotel services staff in the delivery of efficient and effective hotel services to residents, staff and visitors to the Residential Aged Care Facility.
Key responsibilities:
- Three-five years' demonstrated experience leading a hotel service team within an aged care or health care facility.
- Demonstrated current knowledge of hospitality operations, trends and the ability to implement relevant innovations into the operations of an aged care service.
- An appreciation and supervision of service budgets, roster structures and resource management within a hotel services discipline while maintaining client satisfaction (food services preferred).
- A sound knowledge of Food Safety legislation compliance, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), Safe Work Systems and Infection Control principals in particular within an aged care or health care environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support staff within a multi-disciplinary hotel services team environment, with a particular focus on the customer outcomes and the needs of older people.
Key requirements:
- Current National Police Certificate
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or recognised Chef qualification (desirable)
