The Opportunity

This is an outstanding opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where you’ll partner with the CFO and executive leadership team to drive the financial strategy and performance of a growing listed organisation. As Group FC, you’ll lead the finance function, ensuring strong governance, accurate reporting, and insights that enable informed business decisions.

You’ll be exposed to a broad mix of operational and strategic finance, have direct impact on business outcomes, and enjoy working in a high-performing, fast-paced environment that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The Role

In this position you’ll take responsibility for financial control across multiple entities, balancing day-to-day operational excellence with forward-looking strategy. You’ll provide trusted advice to the CFO and Board, manage investor and regulatory reporting, and lead a small, high-performing finance team.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Delivering statutory, management, and regulatory reporting across the group (including multiple international offices)
• Ensuring robust governance, risk, and compliance frameworks are in place and effective
• Partnering with the CFO and senior executives on financial strategy, planning, and capital management
• Providing commercial insights, modelling, and analysis to support growth, investment, and M&A opportunities
• Leading and developing a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
• Driving efficiency and innovation in financial processes, systems, and reporting

The Ideal Person

You are a senior finance professional with a strong technical foundation and a track record of success in complex business environments.

You bring deep experience in financial control, compliance, and reporting, alongside the ability to partner strategically with executives and boards.

With CA/CPA qualifications and a collaborative leadership style, you thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and are motivated by the opportunity to shape financial performance at both an operational and strategic level.

Salary / Rate

• $170k - $190k + Super + incentives
• Excellent staff benefits
