About the Role

Adept Services Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and experienced Account Manager / Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Melbourne. This full-time role is ideal for a proactive and client-focused individual with a passion for service excellence and business growth. You’ll play a key role in managing key accounts while driving new commercial opportunities across the region.

What You’ll Be Doing

Building and nurturing long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, aged care, and education sectors

Leading client meetings, site inspections, and preparing tailored proposals and tenders

Collaborating with our operations team to ensure high-quality service delivery

Negotiating contract terms, renewals, and service expansions

Maintaining CRM records and providing regular sales and performance reporting to management

Meeting and exceeding growth targets and KPIs

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in account management or B2B sales, preferably in commercial cleaning, facilities management, or service industries

Proven success in growing existing accounts and securing new clients

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

A hands-on, proactive approach to solving client issues and delivering results

A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Sales, or a related field (desirable)
