We are looking for someone that is reliable, motivated, energetic and eager to become part of the team, to assist in producing great food as a Part Time Chef/Cook.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Experienced in a similar position desirable

Enjoying working with and preparing quality food.

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery desirable not essential.

Able to work efficiently, whilst keeping a close eye for detail.

Background in a la carte cooking.

Experience working solo in a kitchen

Can handle the pressure in a fast paced kitchen

Team player

Good written and oral communication skills

Tasks will Include;

Prepare, store, and Maintain food products safely.

Assist in food preparation, service and catering for the various food outlets within the hotel such as Breakfast, Dinner, Bar, functions, room service.

Maintain a clean & safe working environment.

Communicate efficiently and clearly with all team members in a harmonious way.

Ensure that all standard recipes are followed.

Monitor food quality and control

Ensure all Food Safety and Hygiene Standards are adhered to at all times.

Adhere to the Hotels Policies and Procedures.

The role is part-time with an immediate start to join our team.

Ideally available 7 days - Nights, Weekend and the occasional split shift availability essential.
