About the role

Amoretti's Restaurant is seeking a talented Commis Chef (Pasta Chef) to join our dynamic kitchen team in Abbotsbury, NSW. This part-time opportunity will see you working alongside our experienced Chefs to prepare and serve delicious, high-quality pasta dishes to our discerning customers.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the senior Chefs in the preparation and cooking of pasta and pasta-based dishes

Ensuring all pasta and pasta-based dishes meet Amoretti's high standards of quality and presentation

Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic work environment in the kitchen

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Contributing ideas and suggestions to improve pasta dishes and the overall dining experience

What we're looking for

Formal culinary training and/or previous experience as a Commis Chef or Pasta Chef

Excellent knowledge of pasta varieties, preparation techniques and flavour pairings

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality dishes

Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Passion for creating delicious, visually appealing pasta dishes

Available to work approximately 35 hours per week
