Austcorp Executive is partnering with a ASX listed Mining Services company, this company works with Tier One mining operators across Australia.

The Engineering and Operations team is looking to recruit a Project Engineer (Electrical) who will be responsible for the project delivery of Electrical Infrastructure Projects – through a full life-cycle design, installation and on-site commissioning and maintenance.

As the Project Engineer your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:

• Manage and report on resource capability and project demands.
• Weekly and monthly forecast and budgeting reporting on the status of the project.
• Collaborating as the interface between engineering, operations and site based contracting teams.
• Maintain project schedule and client communication – face to face and via email/phone.
• Format and manage accurate – RFQ’s and bills of materials(BOM) for the electrical site services.
• Preparing cost estimations, supporting tendering, and quoting requirements.
• Review technical electrical drawings and documentation.
• Meet contract obligations and deal with disputes, claims and variations of contract.

Key requirements/experience:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering ideally certified by engineers Australia.
• 2-3 + years in a similar role (preferred)
• A proven track record delivery projects end-to-end.
• Previous experience in Electrical mining/infrastructure projects.
• You Must have full working rights in Australia already granted to be considered.
