Liangs Group is a well-established Chinese restaurant located in Pinewood Shopping Centre. We combine the best of Traditional Chinese and Western cuisines, offering customers affordable, high-quality meals in a modern and comfortable setting.

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef to join our team on a full-time basis.

Position Details:

Job Title: Chef

Location: Pinewood Shopping Centre, VIC

Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)

Salary Range: $75,000 – $80,000 per annum plus superannuation (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and cooking a variety of Chinese and Western dishes in accordance with our menu and standards

Planning and organising daily kitchen operations, including ingredient preparation and stock management

Ensuring food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards before service

Monitoring and maintaining food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards

Training, supervising, and coordinating junior kitchen staff as required

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of relevant full-time work experience as a Chef (experience in Chinese cuisine will be highly regarded)

Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate IV or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory

Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Excellent teamwork and communication skills
