About the role

You'll report into a highly experienced Principal Engineer and work alongside a close-knit project delivery team. The position is hands-on and design-led, working with internal stakeholders as well as external design houses, contractors and suppliers.

Duties

Develop designs for solar PV and battery storage systems with a focus on ground-mounted projects

Carry out system modelling and performance analysis with industry software (PVSyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope etc)

Prepare and review specifications for tenders and proposals

Support commissioning and quality inspections on site

Collaborate with external design partners and internal delivery teams to get projects built

Skills/experience

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

Solid background in solar PV design (ground mount preferred, not only rooftop)

Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope and similar software

Strong attention to detail and ability to work across multiple projects

Keen to expand into battery storage design and full lifecycle project exposure
