A global market leader, in technology and innovation in their manufacturing and research and development, require the assistance of a highly experienced Accounts Officer to join the large finance team on a 6 month temp basis. The Role
Reporting to the Transactional Services Manager, the responsibilities of the role will include,

• Full function Accounts Payable processing
• Ensure all invoices are processed in SAP with the correct authority for approvals
• Credit card reconciliations and managing employee expenses
• Banking, receipting and allocating of payments
• Manual payment of invoices for direct debit accounts
• Processing inter-company transactions and reconciliations
• Reconciling GL accounts and posting journals

About You
The successful applicant will have/be,

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, AR, AP, Journals)
• A strong attention to detail and well developed organisational skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team
• Well developed problem solving and reconciliations skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Business partnering across the wider business
• SAP experience and Intermediate Excel highly regarded
• Bring a positive and professional, team focused approach
