The Organisation:
A well-respected government department is looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Officer. You will be working for an organisation that has played a significant role in directly impacting the lives of thousands of Queenslanders. You will be reporting to a manager who is knowledgeable, supportive and considerate of their staff. This will be a 3 month temporary role with a strong possibility of extension.

The Position:

• Process daily Tenancy, Bond Loan and Home Loan refunds
• Work on general and accrual journals
• Process daily and monthly reconciliation
• General file maintenance
• Daily data processing
• Process reconciliation of the general ledger account

Your Profile:
To excel in this role, you must possess good data skills, effective communication abilities, and a solid background in finance. Experience with SAP, particularly ECC6, would be advantageous. You will be instrumental in handling key finance responsibilities. You will process refunds for tenants in credit, manage general and accrual journals, and perform daily and monthly reconciliations.
