We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team in a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday.

About the Role
A dynamic and experienced IT Support Specialist will join our Operations team and work with a tight-knit IT team, reporting to the IT Manager. In this full-time permanent role, you’ll provide technical support across the organisation, ensuring the integrity of our IT systems and delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and resolving IT needs across the institute

Supporting Windows, Mac, Office 365, SharePoint, and Windows Servers

Troubleshooting network and connectivity issues

Maintaining hardware/software inventory and backups

Supporting AV systems in meeting rooms

Monitoring antivirus and file security systems

Providing excellent customer service to users and stakeholders

Escalating server issues to managed service providers as needed

Essential Criteria

Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in a complex IT environment

Strong knowledge of Microsoft OS, MAC OS, Active Directory, Office 365, TCP/IP, and antivirus systems

Experience with storage systems, remote desktop support and antivirus tools

Excellent troubleshooting skills and customer service focus

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
