About the role:
Student Advisors play a pivotal role in supporting our students at Victoria University. As the first point of contact for current and future student enquiries, you will be supporting our students to navigate university systems and processes, their personal and academic goals, and setting them up to get the most out of their student experience.
In this role you will work 100% on campus, closely with our Advisory teams, Student Administration and college staff to support domestic, international, TAFE and higher education students. Our Service centres are across multiple campuses in the west.
About the person:

has a customer service mindset and wants to make a positive difference to the lives of our students,
has experience in customer service roles and record management systems (preferably in student services)
has the ability to collaborate and work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver exemplary student support,
keeps a level head in busy and sometimes stressful situations,
proactively identifies and resolves issues where possible and appropriately escalates where necessary
can equally work autonomously and collaboratively as needed
Duties:
An example of duties you may perform will include:
Supporting students through case management by completing student progress appointments
Providing accurate, timely and documented advice to students on a range of matters including course advice, administration, admissions, enrolment, fees, scholarships and advanced standing and on using student systems
Identifying and implementing service and process improvements
