About Us:
At the Institute for Social Neuroscience (ISN) Psychology, we take a broad approach to the study of psychology, employing the cross-disciplinary approach of social neuroscience. This new discipline investigates the complex interrelationship between our physiology, molecular makeup, our neuroscience and our social environment to further understand the psychology of human behaviour.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Student Services Coordinator serving as a primary point of contact for students seeking guidance, resources, and assistance. You will coordinate services, organise events. Reporting to the Head of Student Experience and work closely with the Office of the Chief Registrar this position works closely with staff and the student body to foster a vibrant, supportive ISN culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support and advice to students regarding academic, administration and support matters.
Plan and coordinate student-centred programs, workshops, and events.
Serve as a liaison between students and various departments.
Manage student records and ensure accurate, confidential documentation.
Assist in orientation, retention, and student success initiatives.
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the student community.
Create and maintain support plans for students in collaboration with the academic and clinics teams.
About you:
Previous experience in a similar role (ideally in a higher education setting).
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Workspace, and calendar management tools.
Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
Enjoys problem solving and have a solutions focussed mindset.
A genuine passion for supporting students and contributing to a positive educational experience and familiarity with student management software and other complementary online platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, education, counselling, or a related discipline.
