Key Cutter, Engraver & Shoe Repairer – About the Role
As a Key Cutter, Engraver & Shoe Repairer, you will learn a variety of repair and customer service skills. Day-to-day, you will handle shoe and bag repairs, cut household and automotive keys, replace watch batteries, and engrave personalised items for customers. Working within a well-established franchise, you will be supported by skilled tradespeople and encouraged to develop your abilities across several areas.
This is a full-time role, typically Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with some Saturday shifts and generally no Sundays. Both Malvern and Ringwood workshops are busy customer-facing locations where you will quickly become part of a trusted local service team.

As a Key Cutter, Engraver & Shoe Repairer, you will be fully trained in shoe repair, key cutting, watch repair, and engraving. With around 6–12 months of structured learning, you will become confident and independent in the role.
The franchise offers ongoing professional development, including government-funded courses such as Certificate IV qualifications. For motivated individuals, career progression could include moving into store management or even franchise ownership.
