Mother Duck Childcare was established in 1990 and has grown to become a leading provider of early childhood education and care, with 10 centres across Brisbane.
Each centre is led by local owner-operators who are qualified and experienced early childhood educators. They are dedicated to creating nurturing, high-quality learning environments for children. We are currently seeking full-time Early Childhood Teachers to join our dedicated teams at Mother Duck Childcare and Kindergarten.
We have services in Brisbane and Moreton Bay LGAs all conveniently located near public transport.
✅ Minimum Qualification Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following:
Hold an approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification, OR
Hold a former approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification commenced before 1 January 2012, OR
Hold a qualification ACECQA has determined to be equivalent, OR
Hold a qualification ACECQA has assessed as equivalent to an approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification

Our Family
Dear Parents,
Mother Duck is a small family owned group of companies, principally owned by my wife Ros and I, but also some of our Directors who have become partners in the business.
Ros and I first purchased a centre at Enoggera in 1990, when it was an old church hall beside the Enoggera railway station. Ros worked at the centre for nine years before retiring, establishing our name and reputation for quality and excellence in care and education of young children.
Our motto “Excellence in Care and Education” is a legacy of her endeavours. Mother Duck Childcare centres strive to be the providers of the highest quality childcare in Brisbane, and we place enormous emphasis on having a happy, professional and loyal staff, who are well resourced and professionally satisfied.,
