About the role

Plainland Kindergarten and Childcare is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated teaching team. This full-time role is based in Plainland, QLD and will involve delivering high-quality educational programs for our young learners.

What you'll be doing

Designing and implementing engaging, play-based learning experiences that promote the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children aged 3-5 years

Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to tailor learning activities

Building positive relationships with children and their families, acting as a key point of contact

Collaborating with the teaching team to continually improve educational programs and practices

Ensuring a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment at all times

Complying with all relevant early childhood education regulations and standards

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification

Registered or eligible for registration as an early childhood teacher in Queensland

Minimum 2 years' experience teaching in an early learning setting

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families

Creativity, flexibility and a passion for supporting young children's learning and development

Current first aid certificate, including anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management

Working with Children (Blue Card) or ability to obtain
