About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Retail Manager to join the team at SportsPower Mudgee. This full-time position is based in Mudgee, NSW, and the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our busy retail store operations. As Retail Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our business and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

What you'll be doing

Manage all day-to-day retail store operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service

Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing retail team to achieve sales targets and business objectives

Implement effective merchandising and visual display strategies to maximise product visibility and sales

Analyse sales data and customer trends to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement

Ensure the store maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety

Foster a positive, customer-centric culture within the store

Collaborate with the broader business to contribute to the overall success of SportsPower Mudgee

What we're looking for

Substantial experience in a retail management role, preferably within the sports or consumer goods industry

Proven track record of leading and motivating high-performing teams to achieve sales and operational targets

Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to deliver a seamless shopping experience

Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with both customers and internal stakeholders

Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Retail Management, Business, or a related field would be highly regarded
