• AO5 Human Resources Advisor (x2)
• ASAP start - initial 9-month period (possible extension)
• Brisbane CBD office location (hybrid)
• $67.19 - $72.96 per hour + Super (40 hours per week PAYG)

Six Degrees is seeking two experienced AO5 HR Advisors to join a major Queensland Government program delivering a large pipeline of transformational infrastructure projects.
Reporting to the Princpal HR Advisor, this role sits within a central program office that coordinates high-value, high-profile initiatives designed to meet the future needs of our growing state ahead of major international events. You will play a key role in supporting workforce planning and resourcing for multiple concurrent projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Liaise with key stakeholders to understand resourcing needs.
• Develop new, and update existing, role descriptions.
• Have experience in recruitment and selection within the public sector.
• Apply HR policies and frameworks in achieving business outcomes.
• Prepare HR related correspondence, briefs, reports and resource requests to a highstandard.
• Support the Principal HR Advisor as required to build and mature HR service delivery across the branch.

Selection Criteria:

• Recent Queensland Government experience.
• Able to work as an independent HR advisor.
• Have experience in recruitment and selection within the public sector.
• Demonstrate an understanding of contemporary human resource management practices as well as a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, industrial agreements, policies and procedures.
