We are currently working with a major Queensland Government Department to appoint two HR Advisors (AO5 level) to their Infrastructure Delivery Office.

This Delivery Office is responsible for:

• Leading the delivery of a major program, with accountability for state-wide projects
• Ensuring project delivery teams work collaboratively and engage with each other, and external entities, to deliver a consistent customer experience
• Building specific capabilities into the future workforce, maximising alignment between this new capability and existing branches

Your new role

• Partnering and liaising with key stakeholders to understand resourcing needs
• Coordinating recruitment and selection processes
• Developing new (and update existing) Role Descriptions
• Preparing HR related correspondence, briefs, reports and resource requests to a high standard
• Supporting the Principal HR Advisor to build, and mature, HR service delivery across the branch

What you’ll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a similar role within Queensland Government
• Recruitment and selection experience within the Public Sector
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• An understanding of contemporary human resource management practices, as well as relevant legislation, industrial agreements, policies and procedures
• Ability to pass a Criminal History Check
• Valid working rights for Queensland, Australia

What’s in it for you

• $67.13 - $72.96 per Hour + Superannuation
• Initial contract to May 2026, with potential extensions

• 38 hours per week (between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday)
