About the Role
As our People & Culture Advisor, you’ll be the go-to partner for leaders, offering clear, practical, and compassionate advice on all things employee relations. From performance management to workplace investigations, you’ll help ensure our teams feel supported, heard, and empowered.
In this hands-on role, you’ll:
- Advise leaders on employee relations matters including performance, conduct, grievances, and investigations.
- Coach managers to navigate people challenges confidently and in line with industrial instruments and legislation.
- Support organisational change with an employee relations and compliance lens.
- Implement and maintain HR policies, ensuring they’re both effective and people-focused.
- Keep accurate records and contribute to process improvements that make life easier for leaders and staff alike.
About You
You’re experienced, approachable, and unflappable, a true people person with a strong ER background. You’re just as comfortable explaining complex legislation as you are lending an empathetic ear.
You’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ HR advisory experience with a strong focus on employee relations.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian employment law and IR frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive and complex people matters.
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
- Relevant qualifications in HR, Business, or related discipline.
- Bonus points for experience in the early education or care sector.
