We are a busy bulk-billing medical practice seeking an experienced and professional Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team. This role is perfect for someone who is organised, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours:

Monday: 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Tuesday: 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Saturday: On a rotating roster

Additional Shifts: Flexibility to cover staff leave or sick days is essential

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting patients and managing front desk operations

Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments

Processing payments, Medicare billing, and patient accounts

Using Best Practice software to manage appointments and patient records

Supporting doctors and clinical staff with administrative tasks

Ensuring smooth day-to-day clinic operations

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a medical receptionist

Proficient in Best Practice clinical software

Experience working in a medical practice (essential)

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Strong computer and administrative skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable and available for the specified working hours and on-call cover when required
