About the role

The role of Team Leader Field Staff requires commitment to building and fostering a high performing team, that is focused on delivering on Community Gateway’s purpose and dedicated to providing a positive client experience.

The purpose of this role is to provide leadership and support to front-line staff, ensuring the delivery of relevant, quality and customer focussed supports and services to Community Gateway’s clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides leadership and support to a remote workforce.

Ensures the delivery of relevant, quality and customer focussed supports and services to Community Gateway’s clients

Manage client feedback and complaints

Lead recruitment, induction and training of field staff

Conduct regular and ongoing team meetings and one on ones

Fulfil out of hours and on call duties.

Reinforce Community Gateway’s Purpose, agreed behaviours and build a positive team culture

Demonstrated experience in leadership and supporting teams to deliver relevant and quality supports and services

Superior customer service and engagement skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities

Knowledge and understanding of the disability and aged care sectors

Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite and client management systems

Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, work health and safety requirements

The successful applicant will need (or be willing to obtain):

Current Driver's License and willingness to travel between offices.
