MIG Welder

We are currently seeking a MIG Welder to join our team based in Logan area for long term work!

This is a full time hours position that leads to permanent work. You will be working with medium to heavy structural steel products for the construction industry

Duties include -

• Working closely with Boilermakers
• Reading basic drawings to weld beams, columns and handrails etc
• Workshop based
• MIG welding of mild steel

Duration and Conditions -

• Immediate weld test and start
• Permanent AFTER completing probation period
• Payrate: $40 - $44/hr PLUS penalties
• Full Time Position
• Located in Logan area!

Requirements and Experience -

• Minimum of 2 years MIG welding experience
• Experience working on heavy steel preferred
• Basic experience reading engineering drawings is an advantage
• Reliable transport and valid licence
• Own weld helmet and basic tools
• Forklift licence advantageous
