TITAN Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of waste handling equipment based in Archerfield, QLD.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable MIG Welder to join our Australian manufacturing team specialising in the fabrication of waste handling equipment, including compactors, hooklift bins, front lift containers, and related steel structures. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong fabrication skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out MIG welding to manufacture and assemble waste equipment components.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans.

Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and conformance to Australian Standards.

Operate hand tools, cutting equipment, grinders, and workshop machinery safely and efficiently.

Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, measuring, and aligning components prior to welding.

Collaborate with the production team to meet manufacturing schedules and quality targets.

Comply with all workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements and company procedures.

Maintain workshop cleanliness and perform basic equipment maintenance.

Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in MIG welding and steel fabrication

Ability to interpret technical drawings and welding symbols accurately.

Good physical fitness and ability to lift and handle materials safely.

Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety standards.

Forklift and overhead crane licences (desirable but not essential).

Knowledge of AS/NZS welding standards (desirable).

Working Conditions:

Workshop or factory setting with occasional exposure to noise, heat, and dust.

Requires manual handling, standing for long periods, and use of PPE at all times.
