Brilliant opportunity for an Account Executive to join our client's expanding Melbourne operation. The company is a well known brand that are highly respected by their peers. The successful candidate would be comfortable working on Commercial General Insurance business with a strong focus on client services. The role will also involve Assisting and supporting three Senior Brokers including one Account Director and is suited to individuals that have passion and a drive to succeed as well as those who are very organised and able to prioritise a busy workload.

Ideally we are looking for an experienced Insurance Broking Assistant that is ready to step into this role or an Account Executive that is looking for a fresh new environment and who are Tier 1 compliant In General Insurance Broking. Experience working on Commercial General Insurance policies within an Insurance Broking environment is essential.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

Working on a small portfolio of Commercial General Insurance business

Handling renewals, endorsements, CoC's, remarketing policies etc

Providing the highest level of client services to your clients

Negotiating with Underwriters

Supporting three Senior Brokers on their portfolios which consist of Financial Lines, Corporate and Retail

Various other Insurance duties as required

Ideally candidates will have:

Tier 1 in General Insurance Broking is essential

2 - 3 years or more experience as a Commercial General Insurance Broking Assistant or Account Executive

Strong verbal and written communication skills and

High levels of attention to detail, accuracy and professionalis

Ability to start doing more than just assisting on some of the larger clients will help this position progress a little more quickly
