ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a well-established organisation in the technology and services sector, currently undergoing a period of transition and change. As part of this, they are looking for a capable and hands-on Finance Manager to step in on a 3-month contract and provide stability, leadership, and delivery during a critical time.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of finance operations, mentoring teams, and contributing to high-impact initiatives in a fast-moving environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations including accounts payable, receivable, cash flow management, and monthly reporting
• Lead the preparation of financial analysis and key deliverables including budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting
• Support the FY25 year-end close and audit preparation
• Lead the redesign of general ledger structure and management reporting packs
• Drive customer collections and project invoicing
• Provide hands-on support for the FY26 budget process and other finance initiatives
• Coach and support a team of 7 finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• A degree-qualified finance professional with CA/CPA (or equivalent) credentials
• Proven experience leading finance functions, preferably in a B2B, technology or services-oriented environment
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and systems
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines during busy periods
• Confidence using ERP systems (SAP is advantageous) and strong Excel / Power BI capabilities
• A collaborative leader who can bring focus, structure, and motivation to their team
