About the role

Sadaqa is seeking a dynamic and experienced Events Manager to join the team. The role is full-time based out of head office in South Granville.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver annual fundraising plan, execute events and activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve fundraising processes, aligning with our mission and values.
• Coordinate Sadaqa Welfare Fund events, fostering positive connections with donors and the community.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team for aligned messaging and engagement.
• Coordinate external suppliers and requirements based on event’s needs.

About you

The ideal candidate will possess excellent event management skills with a passion for community engagement.

• At least 5 years’ experience in event management.
• Experience in end-to-end management of events including planning, organizing, and executing from start to finish, budgeting, logistics, marketing, and on-site coordination.
• Proven experience in building successful relationships with sponsors and stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Must have driving license and own vehicle.
• Flexible to travel nationally.
