Our client is a highly respected leader in the Australian raw materials, ingredients, and additives sector. They are recognised for quality, innovation, and customer service, serving prominent clients across Australia and the surrounding APAC region. With a strong local presence and a commitment to technical and regulatory excellence, they are now seeking an experienced Account Manager/Business Development Manager to join one of their top-performing NSW divisions.

As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing and managing a portfolio of large-scale, high-value client accounts. You will work closely with the marketing team, lead client communications, and ensure the company remains front-of-mind for all key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and expand relationships with major clients

Source new business through new clients

Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and capitalise on new opportunities

Lead discussions on product developments, trends, and solutions

Serve as the main point of contact for all client needs, including sales and technical support

Maintain regular client engagement and provide prompt, high-quality service

Prepare and present reports on account statuses to both internal and external stakeholders

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a strategic, results-driven Account Manager or Business Development Manager with a strong background in managing large-scale, high-value accounts.

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience in key account management within the raw materials, ingredients, or additives sector

A credible scientific background with knowledge of product applications

Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills

A collaborative and relationship-focused approach

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities

A proactive, solution-oriented mindset

What’s On Offer

Base salary of $110k - $125k

Super at 12%

Car allowance with fuel card or FMCV can be discussed

Generous bonus and commission structure
