About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Finance & Benefits Manager to support a $90m program focused on further consolidating transactional shared services across the NSW public sector. You’ll be responsible for tracking program costs (actuals and forecasts) and benefits throughout the program’s lifecycle and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strategic partnerships with Program Leads, Treasury, Department of Customer Service (DCS), and cluster agencies to ensure accurate financial reporting, funding management, and informed decision-making.
• Lead the creation of program financial and benefits plans, models, and forecasts to track total program performance.
• Deliver advanced financial modelling and analysis to forecast operational service demand impacts.
• Provide expert advice on procurement planning, budget performance, and financial strategy.
• Ensure high-quality, accurate, and reliable program management reporting.
• Oversee end-to-end reporting processes, delivering timely insights into program performance.
• Engage with senior stakeholders, providing expert advice to mitigate risks and achieve efficiency, savings, and strategic targets.

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience in financial management, modelling, and analysis in large-scale programs.
• Strong program management exposure, ideally in the public sector.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, particularly in engaging senior stakeholders on financial matters.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to manage risks, dependencies, and competing priorities.
• Familiarity with SAP and government reporting processes is highly regarded.
