We are currently looking for a Full time Building Maintenance Estimator / Minor Works Estimator to handle sourcing trades, compiling quotes, organising materials, organising equipment, updating clients & assisting with general day to day tasks using simple job tracking software to join our team.

Qualifications/skills:

Previous trade experience or previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.

Must hold a current driver’s licence and white card.

Must have their own reliable transport.

Be able to interpret and apply Australian Building Codes and Compliance Frameworks.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for building, maintenance, and repair projects

Interpret scope documents, plans, and compliance requirements

Assist with tender submissions and client proposals

Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk factors

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to source competitive pricing

Updating all jobs with clients daily.

Scheduling and organise jobs to in house & external trades using job tracking software.

Sourcing trades for the works required.

Organising materials and equipment for jobs.

Ability to problem solve and handle any customer issues that may arise with a solution-focused approach.

Maintain long-term relationships with clients and trades.

Demonstrated ability to adhere to administration systems.

General day to day tasks.
