We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-focused Draftsperson to join our dynamic team and support the delivery of high-quality technical drawings and documentation across a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and clear 2D and 3D CAD drawings, including orthographic projections, cross-sections, elevations, and exploded views.

Develop implementation and installation drawings for assemblies and systems.

Support the design team with general CAD drafting, design amendments, and file preparation.

Import and organize base design files, including topographical data and contours, into AutoCAD or Bricscad for project readiness.

Review incoming design inputs, identify gaps, and follow up to ensure complete and accurate information.

Finalise drawings in alignment with Netafim’s QA procedures and maintain up-to-date filing via SharePoint.

Adhere to relevant drawing standards such as AS1100, ISO, and ANSI.

Utilise layers, blocks, templates, and dimensioning tools to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in plans and documentation.

Apply basic engineering calculations, measurements, scales, and trigonometry as required.

Skills & Experience:

Proven proficiency in CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, Bricscad, SolidWorks, Inventor, and Civil 3D.

Strong knowledge of technical drawing principles and standards.

Attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and deliver accurate documentation.

Experience working with design and engineering teams on multidisciplinary projects.

Familiarity with QA systems and structured documentation workflows.

Strong organizational and communication skills.
