About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage payroll operations across all sites. You will ensure employees are compensated accurately and on time, maintain compliance with relevant legislation, and lead a small payroll team. This role is ideal for someone with extensive payroll experience, EBA interpretation expertise, and strong leadership and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Oversee payroll processing, including timekeeping, calculations, and direct deposits.

Maintain accurate employee records and update payroll systems.

Act as subject matter expert for EBA interpretation, providing guidance to HR and management.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Lead and mentor the payroll team, fostering continuous improvement.

Conduct regular audits and participate in internal and external reviews.

Communicate effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders.

Selection Criteria

5+ years’ experience in payroll management within multi-site, multi-agreement organisations.

Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, compliance, and the Fair Work Act.

Experience with payroll software (WIISE a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and analytical skills.

Calm, collaborative, and proactive in process improvement.
