The Role

We're seeking a hands-on Leading Hand Site Electrician to coordinate and lead site electricians, apprentices, and trades on projects across Greater Newcastle and beyond. You'll be working closely with the Site Supervisor to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate resources, materials, and equipment to achieve project outcomes
• Maintain planned work schedules and ensure timelines are met
• Manage subcontractors for high-voltage terminations
• Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and quality standards
• Maintain clear communication with the Site Supervisor, Project Managers, and clients

Requirements:

• Electrical trade qualification with a qualified supervisor certificate
• Experience in mining and/or heavy industry site project work
• Ability to work away from home as required
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
