About the role

Blackrock Electrical Contractors Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Leading Hand, Tradesman, 4th year Apprentice to join our team in Sydney, NSW. As a Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the work of our electrical crew, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the work of electricians and apprentices on site

Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant electrical safety standards and regulations

Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise during projects

Providing guidance and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices

Collaborating with project managers to ensure deadlines and budgets are met

Maintaining accurate records and documentation

What we're looking for

Qualified electrician with a current Electrical Tradesman's Licence

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a qualified electrician, with proven leadership skills

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality work

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure
