About the role

As the Customer Service & Internal Sales Representative at MatTek, you will be the voice of our company and a key support member assisting our sales team. Providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients, this is a full-time role based in Emu Plains, NSW. You will be responsible for handling inbound enquiries, processing orders, and contributing to the overall success of our customer-facing operations.

What you’ll be doing

Answering and responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and digital channels in a friendly and efficient manner

Providing accurate and timely information to customers regarding our products, services, and order status

Processing customer orders, returns, and other transactions with attention to detail

Maintaining accurate customer records and documentation

Identifying and resolving customer concerns, and escalating issues as needed

Collaborating with the internal sales team to support lead generation and client retention efforts

Contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service processes and procedures

Following up on queries to ensure they are completed and closed

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or call centre role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a professional and empathetic manner

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to effectively address customer enquiries and concerns

Proficiency in using computer systems and applications, including customer relationship management (CRM) software

A customer-centric mindset and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the customer service department
