LTC currently has an opportunity for a full-time, ongoing Video Production Officer.
About the role
The Video Production Officer is part of the Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) team and responsible for the production of audio and video resources to support learning and teaching across the University. The role focuses on engaging with educators to ensure created content aligns with the intended educational outcomes, provides support for recording and video facilities and follows brand, technical and administrative requirements.
The successful candidate will have:
Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Demonstrated experience in the creation of motion graphics.
Demonstrated ability to operate professional video and audio production equipment
Demonstrated skills in storyboarding and scripting non-fiction materials
Demonstrated ability and skills in editing professional video and audio, (preferably within the Adobe ecosystem, including but not limited to Premiere Pro and After Effects)
Strong storytelling and editing skills, with the ability to capture and communicate complex ideas and messages through audiovisual mediums.
Working knowledge of accessibility requirements relating to the creation and sharing of audiovisual materials.
High-level customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate with UOW staff, students, and community members.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrated experience working autonomously and in team settings, exercising sound judgement in decision-making.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
