Elecbrakes is an innovative, and award winning Australian owned and operated business, designing and manufacturing a world-class electric brake controller.

We are seeking a technically minded Technical Product Support Officer to join our growing team. The role is an excellent opportunity for the right person to grow and share their in-depth product, technical or auto-electrical knowledge with internal and external stakeholders and customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving customer technical product queries, both product specific, and auto-electrical related, over the phone via inbound and outbound calls. You’ll also assist with product testing and validation, and managing technical warranty claims and processes.

Specific in-depth product knowledge can be taught to you if you are willing to learn, are technically or mechanically minded, and possess drive and self-motivation.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing technical troubleshooting, assistance and education to customers, trade partners, and stockists.

Maintaining a database of technical enquiries and issues, identifying themes or trends that require attention.

Managing warranty processes and claims end to end, including testing and customer feedback.

Being the ‘source of knowledge’ for product related queries and information.

To secure this role, you will need to demonstrate:

A background, or in-depth knowledge, in auto-electrics, mechanics, robotics or other technical field.

Experience working in a product or customer support environment, auto-electrical or mechanical workshop, spare parts and/or Warranty department will be highly beneficial.

Exemplary customer service skills coupled with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers and key stakeholders over the phone.

Intermediate computer skills, including experience with CRM's and other operations systems and email.

Sound verbal and written communication skills and the ability to successfully manage your own workload.
