Site Manager - Modular Construction (HQ = Sunshine Coast Area, Projects = QLD-Wide)

A leading modular construction company is seeking a highly organised and experienced Site Manager to join their expanding team based in the Sunshine Coast area. This role offers variety and stability, combining time on remote project sites with factory-based work close to home.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and installation of modular buildings across regional Queensland. The role offers a hybrid schedule, with some weeks spent away on site (1 to 4 weeks at a time) and other weeks working locally in the company's Sunshine Coast-based factory. Weekends are always free, allowing you to return home regularly. All travel and accommodation are provided during away periods.

Reporting to the General Manager of Construction and working alongside a team of four other Site Managers, you'll supervise a small internal crew and coordinate subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage modular construction projects on-site from delivery to final handover
• Supervise internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Coordinate materials, site logistics, and construction sequencing
• Oversee construction programs, progress tracking, and documentation
• Maintain open communication with clients and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Proactively resolve issues and support continuous improvement in site operations

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Carpenter with experience in site management or construction supervision
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the construction industry (modular experience desirable)
• Strong organisational and planning abilities, able to manage multiple projects
• Skilled communicator with a hands-on problem-solving approach
• Confident working independently on regional sites and within a factory environment
• Able to foster strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
• Demonstrates initiative and enthusiasm for more efficient ways to build

Work Pattern and Locations

• On-site: Projects across regional Queensland including Longreach, Gladstone, Bundaberg, and Bribie. Regional assignments typically last 1 to 4 weeks, with weekends always off to return home
• Off-site: When not on site, you'll work from the company's factory facility in the Sunshine Coast area, supporting planning and preparation for upcoming builds
• Travel and accommodation for regional work are fully covered
• Immediate start preferred, but flexibility available for the right candidate.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: $150,000 to $200,000 per annum, depending on experience
