Cadence Connect is exclusively partnering with a leading Managed Service Provider in the ICT sector to appoint a Finance Manager in a newly created role. This is an exciting opportunity to bring maturity, structure, and innovation to a finance function that’s ready to level up.

About the role

Reporting directly to the business owner, you’ll take the lead on all things finance – from managing client billing and collections to overseeing an offshore accounts payable team member. This is a broad, hands-on role that will also give you the scope to drive process improvements, automation, and the adoption of AI to streamline workflows.

With most receivables straightforward (many clients are on direct debit), you’ll also manage a handful of more complex accounts, building strong relationships internally and externally to keep things running smoothly. You’ll work closely with the owner on strategic initiatives, future growth plans, and potential M&A activity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client billing for subscriptions, projects, and contracts
• Oversee accounts receivable, including relationship management with key clients
• Supervise offshore accounts payable team member
• Enhance and streamline finance processes, leveraging automation and AI
• Partner with external accountants and payroll providers to ensure smooth operations
• Provide strategic financial insight and reporting across multiple entities and trusts

About you

• CPA/CA strongly preferred
• Experience with Xero and associated apps
• Solid understanding of multi-entity finance operations
• Proven success in subscription and project-based billing
• Confident leading process improvements and introducing automation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
