Based in South-East QLD, Compliant Gas & Electrical are Brisbane’s leading service company specialising in the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial food and ware washing equipment.

And we’re looking for a superstar Scheduler to join our team!

This Role Is About Making Things Happen

You’ll be the central hub of our operations – answering calls, managing the day-to-day scheduling of our technicians, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

Answer inbound calls and log new service requests in real time

Manage the company phone line, website enquiries, and service inbox

Obtain job-specific details from customers for accurate scheduling

Confirm bookings and communicate technician arrival windows

Act as the central contact for all live or in-progress job scheduling queries

Redirect or escalate technical enquiries or complaints to relevant staff

Provide excellent, efficient, and professional customer service

Book jobs in our job management system (ASCORA) live during customer calls

Assign jobs to technicians based on availability, location, and skillset

Adjust schedules as needed due to job delays, parts availability, or emergencies

Maintain visibility over technician workloads and job progress

Coordinate same-day and urgent work requests

Communicate job updates or changes to clients promptly

Liaise with the Service Support Officer to ensure job data is clean and updated

Notify staff of urgent job changes, outstanding information, or scheduling conflicts

Report on scheduling bottlenecks or recurring issues to management

Escalate follow-ups, unresolved jobs, or customer complaints as appropriate

Competitive salary between $65,000 - $80,000 + superannuation based on skills and experience

Working hours between 8am – 4pm (flexibility available, perfect for school drop off and pick-up)

The Ideal Applicant

Strong experience in scheduling, dispatch, or call-centre style customer service

High typing speed and multitasking ability (live data entry during calls)

Great communicator – written and verbal – and professional under pressure

Proficient with Microsoft Office and job management systems (ASCORA preferred)

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment (good time mgmt.)

Strong knowledge of the trade services industry (gas, electrical, plumbing, HVAC preferred)

Familiarity with commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment (desirable)

Tech savvy and can pick up systems fast

High attention to detail in your work and in your communication. Please include the abbreviation ‘HATD’ at the bottom of your cover letter to prove this quality
