An exciting opportunity has become available for a Seasoned, ‘Market Leading’ Operations Manager to join our team at our Ingleburn site.

As the NSW Operations Manager you will head up the State’s local & linehaul operations, developing and overseeing the delivery plans for execution by a small operations team that report to you. This will be a highly results driven and purpose-led role that requires a ‘high achieving’ logistics professional to deliver service excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the state. You will drive performance, safety, and compliance in a fast-responsive environment.

Backed by cutting-edge technology and a commitment to service excellence, your key responsibilities will include.

Lead a 24/7 delivery environment for linehaul and local transport operations

Ensure safe and timely delivery of all customer freight

Monitor and manage performance, safety, and operational KPIs

Implement, maintain, and mentor continuous improvements across people, process, and technology

Assist to scale teams and systems to meet growth and service demands

Navigate unpredictable delivery schedules with calm and control

Maintain strong client relationships

Oversee all onboarding activities for new employees

Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and service excellence

Collaborate with national leadership on strategic initiatives and reporting

Oversee compliance with regulatory, contractual, and quality standards

Drive workforce planning, rostering, and resource optimisation

Identify and mitigate operational across functions

Ensure detailed route optimisation standards are maintained to the highest level
