About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Coordinator, Learning Success to lead the development and delivery of innovative Library learning services that empower students and support academic excellence.
In this role, you will shape and deliver the Library’s learning and teaching services, ensuring they are accessible, engaging, and of the highest quality — both in person and online. Your work will directly support the success of students and staff across all locations, helping them build the skills and confidence they need to excel.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the Library and the wider University to embed digital and other literacies into the learning experience, making them a seamless and valuable part of every student’s journey. Reporting to the Manager, Learning Success, you will bring specialist knowledge and strategic insight to the planning, development, and delivery of learning support services, ensuring innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement remain at the heart of all we do.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to promote Library Learning Success services and resources, ensuring they align with the University’s learning and teaching priorities and address the specific needs of schools, faculties, and target student groups.
- Collaborate with the Manager, Learning Success to coordinate, develop, and maintain expert knowledge in the design, resourcing, evaluation, and benchmarking of Library learning initiatives that drive student success.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate learning success related training programs for Library staff, teaching academics, and other professional staff to enhance capability and service quality.
- Lead and support staff through effective work planning, performance review processes, and by fostering a culture of high achievement, continuous improvement, and professional fulfilment.
We are looking for:
- A relevant professional qualification in librarianship, complemented by professional experience.
- Proven expertise in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating learning support programs and initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teaching and professional staff in an academic setting.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including experience leading teams and coordinating tasks to achieve shared goals.
- Highly developed presentation skills, with experience delivering engaging training sessions.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to think creatively, solve problems, and adapt effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proficiency in a range of digital tools and web technologies, including the ability to create online learning resources.
- Sound knowledge of learning and teaching practices and processes within a higher education context.
Role Requirements:
- As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
