About the Opportunity
Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service (PAMS) is seeking a passionate and strategic Learning and Development Coordinator to design and implement learning initiatives that strengthen organisational capability and build leadership potential across the workforce.
Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, this role plays a vital part in embedding a learning culture, driving professional development, and aligning workforce development with the PAMS Aboriginal Workforce Strategy and broader strategic goals.
About You
To be considered, you will need to demonstrate:
Tertiary qualifications in Education, Organisational Development, HR, or a related field.
Experience in learning and development coordination, preferably in a health or community setting.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and training evaluation methods.
Proven ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Strong administrative and coordination skills, and experience managing learning systems or HRIS platforms.
Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
High level of cultural competency and commitment to cultural safety in learning.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities.
Desirable:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Experience in trauma-informed and culturally safe training practices.
Experience in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations or remote settings.
